The Humanistic School Switzerland Association is the non-profit pedagogical carrier: it develops the content, ensures quality, awards certificates and scholarships. Klee Collection GmbH is the commercial executive body: it handles all payments, course registrations and the shop. This separation allows the association to pursue non-profit status and be tax-exempt.

What are the prerequisites for the courses?

The only prerequisite for all courses of the Humanistic School Switzerland is a humanistic, ethical and moral attitude and the sincere motivation to promote the best for the child and the community. Formal educational qualifications are not required. For the Academy training (modules L-101 to L-505) we recommend having attended at least one introductory course beforehand.

In which languages are the courses offered?

Courses in Switzerland are primarily offered in German. Online courses are also available in English and Russian. At our international project locations, teaching is conducted in English and/or Russian depending on the region.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. After successfully completing a course you will receive an HSS Certificate. For the complete Academy training (all 5 modules) an HSS Diploma is issued. Our qualifications are not state-recognised degrees.

We place great importance on personal support. Online courses have a maximum of 20 participants, in-person seminars a maximum of 15 people. For groups of 10 or more people from the same institution we also offer tailored in-house training.

Yes. All registered course participants receive access to our online learning platform with course materials, recordings and exercises. Access remains available for 12 months after the course ends.

The course fee is due in full upon registration, unless otherwise agreed. For courses starting more than 60 days away, instalment payment can be arranged on request (50% at registration, 50% no later than 14 days before the course starts). Please contact us for instalment arrangements.

Will I receive an invoice?

Yes. After successful payment you will automatically receive an invoice by email from Klee Collection GmbH. The invoice contains all tax-relevant information (VAT number, service description, amount). For companies and institutions we can also issue a separate invoice with a purchase reference on request.

Educational services are generally exempt from VAT in Switzerland under Art. 21 para. 2 no. 11 MWSTG. Klee Collection GmbH clearly states on each invoice whether and to what extent VAT applies. For questions about tax treatment, please consult your tax advisor.

We offer early-bird discounts (when registering more than 30 days before the course starts), group discounts for 3 or more people from the same institution, and scholarships for people in financially difficult circumstances. How can I cancel a course?

Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to info@humanistischeschule.ch. The date of receipt of the cancellation notice by Klee Collection GmbH is decisive. Telephone cancellations are not accepted. You will receive written confirmation of the cancellation within 5 working days and – if applicable – the refund.

What happens if the course is cancelled by HSS?

Should a course be cancelled by the Humanistic School Switzerland or Klee Collection GmbH, all registered participants will receive a full refund of the course fee without deduction. We will also offer an alternative date where possible. Further liability (e.g. for travel or accommodation costs) is excluded.

Can I transfer my course place to another person?

Yes. Transfer of the course place to another person is free of charge up to 5 days before the course starts. Please inform us in writing by email with the full contact details of the new person. After this date, transfer is no longer possible.

Refunds are processed within 10 working days after confirmation of cancellation. The credit will be made to the original payment method. For bank transfers, an additional 2–5 working days may be required depending on the institution.
